FAQs

How many rooms can the system deal with?

It can deal with unlimited number of bedrooms and function rooms but we expect our customers to have up to about 30 bedrooms.

Can Reservation Station deal with function rooms?

Yes, there is a diary specifically for function rooms. It allows rooms to be setup individually and by type. Function rooms can be booked for a period of hours or whole days.

When you say: Online booking system that simply plugs into any website, how simple is it?

Unbelievably simple. We give you a few lines of code to insert into any or all of the pages of your current site, it's just that simple. We provide full css access to the plugin so it can be styled to look like part of your website. We are also happy to do it for you to get you up and running.

If my data is stored on the Internet, how can I view it?

You can view your data from anywhere with an Internet connection. Usually this would be the computers inside your hotel, but there is no reason why you couldn't access it from an Internet cafe whilst on holiday, just to check the overview to see how bookings are doing. It even displays well on the iPhone and other mobile devices.

Do I need to backup my data?

No, our service hosts your data on our servers. This means that your data is securely backed up every night, so even in the event of your computer going down, you can still access your reservation database.

How much of my business can I run with Reservation Station?

You can:

  • Manage all your front desk activities
  • Take bookings over the phone and online
  • Handle all your invoicing
  • Get management reports on occupancy & capacity
  • Produce csv reports ready to be imported into your financial package

Is it scalable? What happens when my business grows?

As Reservation Station is a web-based system, it is completely scalable. You don’t need any new hardware or software as you grow you simply add more rooms or function rooms.

Does it have access to management reporting information?

Yes. There is a dashboard to provide an instant snapshot of the business. This includes information such as: who is checking in and out today. The hotel's current occupancy and occupancy percentages for next week. Graphs to show top booking sources and average occupancy. There are also date range led statistics on: number of guests, reservations, amount of room nights and income generated from each of these.

There are also a series of reports detailing almost all aspects of the hotel's data available in CSV and PDF formats.
